It's enjoyable base for visiting some must see attractions in Ambleside. Scenic views where a bonus! This location was wonderful. In fact, there is free Wi Fi in all rooms.

Very clean rooms plus comfy beds, friendly staff. The hotel is in the lake district. Walking distance to rothay manor restaurant, where you can have lunch.
Unfortunately wi-fi was very poor.

The view was really PRETTY, the breakfast was hearty. Rothay manor restaurant, where you can eat, is an easy walk to the hotel. It was near to Windermere.
